Away from the busy, touristic north of the island, Matala Hostel was created by three brothers who wanted to share their love for the beautiful, hippie village of Matala with the world.The south coast of Crete where the hostel is located is known for its stunning beaches and rich history, and we provide the ideal base from which to discover the area.The hostel is only an 8-minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Matala and the famous caves which were once home to a hippie commune.
