At the beginning of the 20th century, the Savoy Hotel became the meeting place for Quito society, where first-class social events were held. As time passed, the hotel moved to its current location in the El Inca sector and became an icon of the city. The business vision of Pablo Gabriel LeMarie Baduy and the dedication of his daughter Aida LeMarie de Watson were fundamental to the hotel’s success.
