When he passed, the house was bequeathed to Louisa Hague who lived with her sister in the house into the 1960’s. Arthur and John. had the house designated Historic and named it the Patterson Hague House in honor of the builder and longest occupant. The new owners preserved the historic elements of the building but gave it a modern spin. Arthur placed his original art in the guest rooms. John made sure all the furnishing were comfortable. Together, they created a stylish and comfortable retreat.
