Luiz Carlos and I (Regina) met Bonito in 1998, and we were enchanted by the beauty of the rivers, the forests, the fish, the picturesque and uncomplicated city, in short: everything. In the beginning, it was a land that was used for neighborhood children to play football, and rest in the shade of the two mango trees and some Bocaiúva trees, which still exist. Far from the city center, everything was peaceful and the few street lights made the sky more starry and the moonlight wonderful.
